Joe Sturgill, interior designer and proprietor of Joe Sturgill & Company, has been well known in the Hot Springs area for his design talents for over 40 years.

He believes in assisting his clients with integrity and expressing the client’s taste and personality through design.

Sturgill says, “As a full service interior designer, I believe that my client’s homes should be a reflection of their personalities and taste not mine. My clients live there, I don't. The way I see it, our job is to be a facilitator of their imagination. We can provide traditional results, but we love to use our imagination and think outside the box on challenging projects. Our passion is to make their vision a reality and to make style easy.”

The design team is happy to work with any size job and budget, from selecting a paint color, or re-covering a favorite chair, to furnishing a complete home. “Some clients ask me to come in and re-arrange what they already have. Sometimes clients just need fresh eyes to put things together a different way, they may not see the potential due to common acquaintance with an object in the same spot over time.”

Sturgill has an appreciation for the past and enjoys decorating with “found” objects. Everything doesn’t have to be new for him. He does well exacting the beauty of a client’s collection from china to textiles to fine art.
